Had 12mm of snow this morning, not enough to cause any problems. It's just started snowing again but not heavily. Anyway, I am staying put with no plans to leave the house.

Hi babe, in bad weather she only gets as far as the garden. I don't walk her every day anyway. Snow is a problem as I can't see where she has 'been'. Then I end up with a big clean-up job eventually

If it's on top of the snow there's no problem. If it gets snowed on, then I haven't got a clue where it is. I clean it up once a day. I don't watch her all the time and rush out there to clean it up each time she drops one. I wait until it has stopped 'steaming'.

They have been frozen these last few days. Makes them easier to 'handle' I use an old pair of kitchen tongs that stay outside.

I made a 3L saucepan full of vegetable soup yesterday. I now have lots of minestrone soup and vegetable soup in the freezer

we had chicken at the weekend, last night stew and dumplings.with potatoes carrots and leeks added etc. today i had the stock, it was lovely

I really love dumplings. When I make them I always add mixed herbs to the mixture.
