Andy Murray and the BBC

Sat 14/06/08 16:04

I appreciate that Murray is our No.1 tennis player at the moment and our only hope at Wimbledon of at least getting into the second week, but it is getting a bit much when the lead item on the sports news is about his thumb, especially with all the other sport such as Euro 2008, US Open etc going on at the moment. During the rest of the year we have to hear about him losing in some first round match in some place most of us have never heard of. Give us a Murray-break BBC. Anyone else agree.

Plus the fact its one of the few sports the Baghdad Broadcasting Corporation have left so they have to hype it up.

Yes, it is annoying. I don't like him, I think he's arrogant and aggressive and I don't enjoy watching him.

I did however enjoy watching Chris Eaton today, he was really good and what a serve he has!! I hope he does well in future years.
