Hi zee, always sad to hear of anyone's passing but I never could get away with ES for some reason, dad for the people he's left behind though

I thought he'd died years ago. RIP Eric.

I believe he was profoundly deaf?
I could never quite get him and the Hattie Jaques brother/sister sitcom

I was reading he had a part in a Harry Potter film. I have seen them all and i dont recall him in them?
No,no zee, I knew that you still have your dad, thank God, I understand we all have happy thoughts which would reflect thinking of someone when you hear a song, see a programme etc
He did a sketch called "The Plank" which my OH thought was genius
I would put him as one of a lost breed saches, I didn't care for his brand of comedy but like ,morcambe and wise , he was clean and never had to resort to swearing and crudeness, the one I disliked the most though, was Benny Hill, eughhhhh!
Yes it was bobbi ... just harmless daft sketches. I liked Benny Hill too
BH always reminded me of a dirty old man in a mac
Z .... reading wiki there he appeared as 'Frank Bryce' in Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire.
