I think there is only one situation where a multiple user is forgiven. As has been exercised elsewhere - an established user may wish to post a very personal thread - e.g. about health or a relationship. I would accept this as reasonable if the poster was using a second name for this type of posting and did not abuse the 2nd name. It requires discretion and is not intended to deceive, merely to protect privacy.
