Yip I popped to the shops yesterday and came back within 10 mins and I have the bleeding Renault Megane parked slap bang at my front door.
No big deal (courtesy of sqad) you may think but its some bu££er who doesnt even live remotely near here and it will remain there for 2weeks grrrrrrrrrr!

To add insult to injury the other perma parkers have appeared at once and on the most drunken weekend of the year courtesy of the excuse of the Braemar Games -(dont ask -I dont know either) in my town I cant get near my house and all the local youths who go to the churchyard just 100yards from my home for a swallae on said weekend might be tempted in their high spirits to key it or other as i cant see the bleeding thing to keep an eye on it.
Anyone got little bits of gravel and and could keep look out about 4am for me ? cat

No its the main road but since I live in a quiet street everyone who doesnt parks in mine and then bu££ers off hsore or wherever they work for weeks at a time.As long as they have road tax they can park its just inconsiderate -they could park in front of the houses which have drives as thats not hassling people.
I just leave my car ticking over slap bang in the middle of the road when i have shopping -its impossible to heave it up the road devil

Theres a young giy who parks here and he doesnt have a tax disc.I have just ignored it -he obv parks here cos less chance of getting clocked -think his time might just have run out cat

Think thats all my venom out now -so everyone can stand down and relax wink

Oh ? I really thought if it's your own private property then that wouldn't be allowed? Can't you get together with other residents and argue your case ? Or am I not getting it? wink

Sky -we do have a case for resident parking as we are surrounded by churches (grrrrr) so they just park at random (grrr) but the rest of the neighbours have become increasingly elderly and as we are close to the town they dont use a car now so my case doesnt carry much weight anymore.Its just so frustrating -even if it was just for the day they were parking but its not.Its for often weeks as its quiet compared to their streets devil

Still worth a shot Dris! If you have elderly neighbours, I'm sure they'd rather it was quiet than having strangers park there? May be there's an argument for the security of your properties? Access?
