Who honestly would have put money on arsenal getting off to a flyer? or man city come to think about it. Although wiith all the disruptions at chelsea i wouldn't be quick to write them off just yet, as bearing in mind that the team is actually still there.
As for United it was pretty obvious they'd be around to defend thier title and the bookis always have them as one of the favourites.
l'pool started ok but to stutter this early is a bit of a surprise, likewise with United really.
What happened to spurs? wasn't they supposed to be this seasons 'dark horses'.

To answer your question, no i don't think it will be a two horse race but it is only a quarter of the way in so it's still too early to speculate who the final furlong contenders will be. (chasing United that is!)

Chelsea are in disaray so god knows how they will finish this season. Changing your coaches and style of play completely after 10 games is not a good idea.

manure are not firing on all cylinders but are getting one nil wins...even against Wigan i think they were lucky

I say watch out for the dark horse Toon to take the title at a canter.

Newcastle at their absolute best could not challenge Man UTD , or the top 4 , or 5 ... 6th is all you lot could ever hope for ....along with about another 7 or 8 teams .but good luck . just try to finish above Boro , and that will be a good season ..........
