Did NZ pay the price for an easy group?

I did ask this in sport but as no one seems to go there...!
First proper game, home they go, take nothing away fom France kin awesome I just think NZ needed a proper game before this, they just seemed like rabbits in the headlights. enormous talent obviously but seemed surprised at the French resistance. England v France, the world cup is surely alive, I just love the way it has not gone to plan, throw the world rankings out of the window!

D'you think Figi will win? If they do & Scotland beat Argentina, then beat Figi & if England beat France, it could be a Scotland vs England final. How good would that be??

The real pity of it was that France's winning try was started by a perfectly obvious forward pass. Obvious, that is, to all but the match officials! But that's rugby, I guess.
