Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel upstaged Jenson Button to win the British grand prix.Having dominated practice and qualifying, the German cruised to victory while Button was a disappointing sixth for Brawn GP. Vettel's team-mate Mark Webber was second, while Ferrari's Felipe Massa took fourth. Williams' Nico Rosberg was fifth while world champion Lewis Hamilton, who won at Silverstone last year, languished in 16th place. But it was Vettel's day as he ended the Button's run of four consecutive wins and reduced his lead in the drivers' championship to 23 points. The 21-year-old rising star once again got the better of team-mate Webber, capitalising on the Australian being stuck behind Brawn's Rubens Barrichello to build up a solid lead. But Webber overtook Brazilian Barrichello at the first pit stops and held his nerve to stay second. Red Bull's new upgrades, including a new nose cone, paid dividends as Vettel build up a 20 second lead when Barrichello pitted on lap 19. Although Webber closed the gap when he passed Barrichello, Vettel strolled to victory for his second win of the season. As for Button, he changed to softer tyres for the closing stages but despite his efforts was unable to pass Rosberg and Massa. The next race is on the German grand prix on July 12th.
