By Tom WithamManchester City's plans for summer recruitment have been given a boost after long-term target Eden Hazard revealed he is ready to leave current club Lille this summer. Citizens boss Roberto Mancini is hoping to bring the Belgian international to the Etihad Stadium to add further creativity to his star-studded squad, reports the Sun. Hazard was yesterday (May 12th) named France's Player of the Year, but it does not seem as though he is keen to hang around to defend his crown. "Two games more to play in the colours of Lille," he stated on social networking site Twitter, indicating he has a big move lined up when the transfer window opens and possibly triggering a flurry of interest across Europe. Although Tottenham and Arsenal would love to add Hazard to their squads, it seems as though City's only real competition comes in the form of local rivals Manchester United. "I like Hazard a lot. He's young and would do great things in our team," said Mancini last month.
