World No 1?

Hey all, does anyone know who the current World No 1 is? Having a row with my mate at the mo - he says Ronnie, I say Higgens - Can anyone help?

Ronnie is indeed official #1, John is provisional #1 hence the confusion.

But the provisional #1 doesn’t become the official #1 until the world chamionships next year. The provisional rankings have no official status.
