Free Style Swimming. in SportsAnswerBank: SAB Suggestions

Free Style Swimming.

Can anyone give me info with regard to the correct breathing for this stroke? Do you exhale through the nose or mouth? Left or right side/ Every other stroke or what? I seem to be able to swim one length but then get a mouthfull of water, what am I doing wrong, (no funnies please.)

though you may be best having a few lessons (most swimming pools do improver lessons) to make sure you get it right.
