League has 2 less players (13 as opposed to15)

Union is played by people who have to have a far greater range of skills than those who play League as League does not require prowess in scrummaging, line-out technique and ability in mauling and rucking. As there are less players in League there is automatically more space available for wingers (for example) to use their pace hence a greater number of tries - this mistakenly gives the impression that League is a more exciting game. This is not true as BOTH games are exciting in their different ways. The problem is that Union has a lot more Laws which are interperated differently by referees in different parts of the world.

Union has a lot more rules I agree, and I've tried to watch union especially during the last world cup, but it was so boring. It's stop and start and the fans get to touch the ball more than the players due to it being kicked into touch all the time. League is so mo much better, better rules, fitter players, less complicated, lss class orientated, and above all more exciting.
