why did france wear a dark navy jersey in the game against Ireland in the rugby world cup, aren't they usually blue, (they've always being that other shade of blue) it's not like their jerseys clashed or anything.

I'm not a great rugby follower, although I do look out for the Tigers results as it seems to be the only sport we're good at.
