Tape. And they don't always stay in place. They have to keeps straightening them, and in one of the Germany games the umpire had to squat down and decide if the tape had moved at the point where the ball landed.

I think a more serious issue is ... how come the girls wear almost nothing, but the men wear baggy vests and shorts? Come on men ... get your bods out for us !!!
