550 horsepower?

Isn't it a little modest power figure for an F1 car? I wasn't even born the time F1 cars were so weak and F1 is supposed to be all about speed, right?

Modest? There are many production cars with more power than that - I think it's a terrible decision for F1.

Yeah, in an other topic we were talking about the 1.200-1.500 hp F1 engines, and now this? OK, the cars will be fast due to their advanced suspension, tyres, bodywork etc comparing to production cars, but the point remains. The engines are weak.
