Why does Lewis Hamilton have his dad with him wherever he goes?!! I know it was his dad who supported his childhood prep for F1, but so did the likes of Schumacher and others and you didn't/don't see their dads trailing round, always in the thick of it. Makes him look a bit daft, however close he is to his 'daddy'. They always want to interview 'Anthony' - who gives a toss what he thinks - other drivers have 'people' who are a lot more interesting and deserving of camera time. Just a pet hate which I witness each race. Mind you, Lewis is a smug git himself, who is doing the sport no favours - hail Alonso, Kubicer and other drivers who don't just rely on their team providing a good car...

Anthony Hamilton is his manager so obviously he is going to be at every race, most of the other driver's fathers are there too they just aren't as well known as Anthony. As for Hamilton not doing the sport any favours, I think he has single handedly made F1 fun again. Look at Silverstone this year, a sell out already, when was the last time that happened. It's not just in Britain that Formula One has become more popular either.

Yup his dad is his manager and also a kill joy dad at at that. Lewis agreed to participate in triathlon and compete with Jenson for a charity cause but the nest day his dad said Lewis can't join because he needs to focus on WDC.
