Grand Prix 2007

Does anyone support my belief that not only were Mclaren told they would forfeit all points accumulated - which was made public, - but they would also have to make sure neither driver won the Drivers Champinship - which was not made public, - presumably to avoid the huge outcry that would have followed, which would have killed all interest in the rest of the season. How else can you explain Hamilton's uncharacteristic performances when it really mattered?

So the FIA are now dishing out covert punishments and at the same time getting the chastisee to keep quiet about it. Think about your own question for a second and you should be able to see how ridiculous it sounds. Do you generally go for conspiracy theories?

Loosehead.Thank you for your observations. You obviously have faith in the FIA.Perhaps you should read what Martin Brundle wrote in the 'Times'.

Willsy. Firstly, I did not receive any information, it is only my belief -as is clear in my question.
Secondly, not every agreement between parties (in this case between the FIA and Ferrari) has 'to come out' to the public domain, because officially it does not exist. - but you must have heard the phrase 'a nod and a wink' !
Thirdly, Martin Brundle's unhappiness with the FIA in this instance is well documented on the Web. Just time his name in any browser search box.
And lastly, if we Brits can't believe that the French FIA can conspire, then why are we taking seriously a charge that The Duke of Edinburgh conspired to kill Princess Diana in France?
