Not true. There is no gambling in Dubai and in some states in America (where they have jump racing) but it still exists and even thrives.

Gambling is an important element but it is, like dog racing, a sport in it's own right.

Where do you draw the line otherwise - to you think because people bet on football, golf or tennis they are not sports?
