Sorry to all to go on about it but after seeing spurs tonight can anyone see any hope for them ?? Prediction, Wont win a league game this side of xmas (relegated by the end of march) Out of the carling cup next round (home to liverpool, Keane to score)Wont get through group stage of uefa cup and knocked out of fa cup 3rd round in january !!!!

Considering they were my outside bet as the team most likely to break into the "big four", I must admit I am surprised they are struggling as much as they are. The main problem seems to be lack of firepower. Why did the board get into such a state over Berbatov? They let Defoe go last season (he will score goals wherever he plays), then to let Keane leave, and to f@nny about with Berbatov till the last seconds of the transfer window without having a replacement was sheer madness. What good is 50 million quid in the bank, when the team is suffering as a consequence? Bent and Pavlyachenko will never replace what Spurs had last season.

I did say firepower was the MAIN problem, but I also have serious doubts about the keeper and the commitment of some of the players seems to be dire (although this happens when a team is struggling).

Solution? The manager could be sacked, of course, but who to replace him with?

I still reckon Spurs will turn the corner, and still think they will claw themselves away from danger. But if they are relegated it would give so many people a bl00dy good laugh.(sorry)
