Did this footballer exist?
Hi cud anyone help? Many many years ago i was on holliday in spain with my parents, & whilst there we got friendly with a family the father said he was called Billy Meadows & he played in the (Famous) Giant killing Herford team that beat Newcastle in the 1973 fa cup, But all the books, web sites, etc, etc have no record of this player ever playing for Hereford or any other team, Was it just a case of me being gullable & easily fooled? Or does anybody out there know if this player REALLY did exist? Thanx 4 any help
