i fished in north west india for the giant mahseer excuse the spelling if its wrong didnt have any luck anyone else tried this was told they are as heavy as 80 lbs

It is about a chap, can't remember his name, that goes in search of extraordinary large fish that live in different rivers throughout the world. Some of the fish were as big as sharks. Another one was a cross between a fish and a crocodile. I think he might end up like Steve Irwin if he is not careful. He has been bitten several times.

thanks for that tonyted only thing i did catch was a snake fish the local indians called it about 9 inches long like a snake and dangerous to touch the spikes on it back were poisoness to touch

This supposed to be serious site, you are lucky that you got a good answer to start with (I don't know nothing about fishing so i can't help) sorry.
However it seems as though MissN and TonyTed should get a room. hence my comment. 
There are only a few of us on here but if it's a genuine question you will get a good answer... eventually.

thanks to army dude and kidd72 i tried for this programme on utube but i dont have broadband so it takes to long then cuts off but thanks anyway,tell me something why is there so much hassle between folk on this site
