I could of bowled ''that over'' better than broad, i did'nt see one attempt at a yorker.
I believe that they lost the game between 43rd and 47th over, we hardly scored any boundaries.
As you say tho, same old England, we get built up be it football, cricket, rugby etc only to once again fall on our faces.

So true, i am sick of the lot of them. Over paid fairies, Broad showed how in experienced he is with his bowling lines and as you said no attempt to get one in the block hole. Collingwood seems to have no clue how to stop this happening at the end of each game. Oh well back to the drawing board :-(

Am I missing something here? The top nations (Australia, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan) seem to have the same nucleus of players, regardless of what form of cricket they play. England seem to chop and change personnel for the sake of it!!!! If you are a top cricketer surely you can play any form of the game? One example of this seems to be Mark Rampakash. He has averaged 100 plus over 2 seasons, and scores at a decent rate.
Maddy, Snape, Schofield, Wright, Prior etc etc are not good enough for test cricket, so why did we think they would be good enough to win the World twenty20 cup?? OK, they have proved to be a hit in previous twenty20 competitions, but they are up against a completely different opponent in this tournament.
Like you say, Neilzulu. Back to the drawing board.

Great reply Lesblue. That seems to be our problem, chop, chop then chop again. No continuity, Flintoff picked even though he was only at 70% ?? Mark Rampakash has been the form player for a while now but he is not part of the in crowd. I truly have no idea where we can go from here as the captain seems completely lost with his tactics and the bowling attack is just not strong enough.
Australia are the best team to model ourselves on. Same team all the time, they do not bomb people out when they struggle, they help them along and in turn the p,layer comes out stronger. I am not watching them anymore as i could write the script for the last 6 overs and why does KP go for that reverse sweep all the time?
I have two children who play for a cricket team and one of them has got trials for Warwickshire. Even they are struggling to understand why we implode at the end of these games.
